Water's Edge Shoreside Suites is a waterfront all-suite resort in Ucluelet, British Columbia, offering spacious condo-style accommodations overlooking Ucluelet Harbour and the Ucluelet Marina. Each suite includes a full kitchen, comfortable living area, and private balcony or patio, making it an ideal choice for couples, families, and longer stays while exploring Vancouver Island's west coast.

Where is Water's Edge Shoreside Suites located?
Water's Edge Shoreside Suites is located on the waterfront in Ucluelet, BC, just minutes from downtown Ucluelet and approximately 40 minutes from Tofino. The resort provides easy access to the Wild Pacific Trail, Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, whale watching tours, kayaking, fishing charters, surfing beaches, and local restaurants.

How far is the resort from Tofino?
Water's Edge Shoreside Suites is approximately a 40-minute scenic drive from Tofino along Highway 4. Many guests choose Ucluelet as a quieter alternative while still enjoying easy access to both communities.

Do the suites have kitchens?
Yes. Every suite includes a fully equipped kitchen with:

Do the suites have ocean views?
Many suites overlook beautiful Ucluelet Harbour and the surrounding marina. Individual views vary depending on the building each unit is located in.

Yes, all suites include cozy gas fireplaces, creating the perfect atmosphere after a day of exploring Vancouver Island.

Does the resort have parking?
Yes. Complimentary on-site parking for one vehicle is available for registered guests. Pleaes ask our Guest Services team for overflow guest parking.

Is Wi-Fi included?
Yes. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is included throughout the resort.

Does the resort have laundry facilities?
Yes, our resort offers coin laundry located in the main reception building.

Is Water's Edge Shoreside Suites pet-friendly?
Yes. Select pet-friendly accommodations are available.
A pet fee applies, and advance arrangements are recommended as pet-friendly suites are limited.

Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, all reservations at Water's Edge require a deposit to secure the booking. Guests must be 19 years of age and have a valid credit card to make a reservation. The same credit card must be provided upon check-in.

Deposit Policies – Our Best Available Rate requires a 1-night +tax deposit upon booking while our discounted Advanced Purchase Rate requires full payment upon booking. Other rate codes are available, please ask upon booking or you can view the policy when booking online.

Online Travel Agents – Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies.

Can I cancel my reservation?
Cancellation policies vary depending on the rate booked. Here is some information on each type of cancellation policy we offer at our Resort:

Flexible Rates – Reservations must be canceled prior to 7-days of arrival to receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations received within 7-days will forfeit the deposit.

Non-Refundable Rates – Payment is required in full at time of booking. If you change or cancel your reservation, you will not get a refund or credit to use for a future stay.

Online Travel Agents – Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies.

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in: 4:00 PM
Check-out: 11:00 AM

Is there after-hours check-in?
Yes. Guests arriving after the front desk closes receive detailed instructions to access a lock-box with their unit key and check-in package.

While whale sightings from the property cannot be guaranteed, guests occasionally spot whales, sea lions, seals, bald eagles, and other marine wildlife from the shoreline or their balconies depending on the season.

When is whale watching season in Ucluelet?

We are happy to host extended stays, however, due to local bylaws, we cannot rent a suite for more than 30-nights.

Pacific Rim National Park Reserve is approximately 15–20 minutes from the resort, making Water's Edge an excellent base for hiking, beaches, and wildlife viewing.

What restaurants are near the resort?
Guests are within walking distance or a short drive of many excellent Ucluelet restaurants serving fresh seafood, West Coast cuisine, cafés, bakeries, and local breweries.

Is Ucluelet a good place for storm watching?
Absolutely. Winter storm watching is one of the most popular reasons visitors choose Ucluelet. Large Pacific storms create spectacular ocean waves nearby. There are some amazing viewing spots, including The Wild Pacific Trail and local beaches.
